A depressing realization.
TextBelow is a conversation between some estranged members of my family and my Sister, Melody. What a sobering exposure. Hearing arguments about the “abomination of Homosexuality” is hard enough, but when you learn your own family feels this way, it’s especially hurtful. See for yourself.
Tom Goffnett The rainbow was placed in the sky as a promise from God to never flood the whole earth again. Didn’t the Lord God flood the earth because of the corruption of man? Why are homosexuals using the rainbow colors for their flag? Odd isn’t it ?

This is you niece, Melody. A comment like that extremely inappropriate and offensive. You have the freedom of speech, but know that you should also practice understanding, acceptance, and respect. Love, in and of itself, is a gift from the God that I know and worship. It doesn’t matter who you love, but how you love. Loving with the stipulations, as you are insinuating above, will make for a lifetime of anger, and judgement. The God that I love wouldn’t be impressed. I’m not going to get into a comment war with you on Facebook, but I wanted to let you know that I am extremely disappointed.

Steve Curran Tom.. it is subversion… simple as that. Not much different than politically correct people wanting to call it a holiday tree instead of a Christmas tree. People guided by the master of lies will try to subvert things that were good for their own purposes. Yesterday at 8:01pm
Steve Curran Melody… Uncle Tom’s words aren’t offensive. Homosexual behavior is wrong. There is no mincing words about that. However, being a homosexual and struggling against that sexual perversion is not necessarily wrong. It is a struggle for many and I believe it can be untwisted, but only through redemption in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit.

I am a sinner. I praise God that I am washed clean by the blood of Jesus, because otherwise I would NOT go to heaven. None of us would.
What if I made a flag to represent adultery? What if I forced the world to accept these acts of immorality? I want people to watch me cheat on my husband in public and accept it. I want to be treated like any normal person and I don’t want schools or churches to talk out against adultery. It is offensive that people don’t approve of cheating. I love cheating, it’s how God made me. I have always cheated on the boys in class so it is normal and natural. Who are you to judge?
What if I made a flag to represent teen sex? What if I forced the world to accept these acts of immorality? I want people to know 14 year old teens are having sex and I want them to allow it. They should be treated like normal teens and I don’t want the schools or churches talking out against it. It is offensive for you not to approve teen sex. I love teen sex, it is what God wants. Why would girls start puberty so young if it wasn’t natural or normal? Who are you to judge?
What if I made a flag to represent drinking? What if I forced the world to accept this immorality? I want people to allow drinking in public, I am talking about being extremely DRUNK in public. I should be treated like a normal person rather than an annoying distraction. I want the churches and schools to stop speaking out against it. It is offensive that people don’t support the drunks’ rights. I love drunks. It’s how God made me, I have always loved drinking so it must be normal and natural. Who are you to judge?
Homosexuality is immoral and wrong. I don’t judge the homosexual, because we are all sinners. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.
I will speak out against homosexuality. I will speak out against abortion and teen sex. I will speak out against a corrupt government, and I won’t shut up. We have to know right from wrong. We can’t be politically correct anymore. Our children will have no hope if we teach them to tolerate sin. They need to know the truth. The truth comes from God. -
Customer Service: No room for excuses.
TextWhen you make pledges on your hold message about how you work “so very hard” on customer service and want to “make sure my experience with them is the best it can be” by making sure a live person answers the phone every time…. you might want to try to actually make that happen. Yes, Overnite Express, I’m talking about you. Simply taking a picture of a package that you left haphazardly sitting at my front door doesn’t guarantee anything, other than ensuring my inevitable Aries-like fiery explosion when I realize I ever received my order.
I lesson for all those who sell something to other people: When my make a promise, and bombard me with that promise every chance you get, live up to that promise. In customer service, there’s no room for excuses. Just
